Challenge Series

GHS_4.jpg

During the next four to five weekends Drum Majors of Southern California will introduce a new drum major related challenge. Challenges will not be focused on who is the best conductor or who has the best parade routine; these challenges will be more out-of-the-box and require a different skill set to complete. Some challenges are light-hearted while other challenges will have competitors looking at their own performances and attributes as a drum major in a brand new way. Competitors will have one week to complete and submit the weekly challenge.

  • The Challenge Series is FREE!!!

  • Challenges are open to all drum majors, including DMSC graduates!

  • There is no registration for the Challenges Series. Once a challenge is posted all you need to do is submit your entry before the deadline.

  • New Challenges will be posted every Sunday for the next 4 to 5 weeks.

  • Challenges will be due the following Saturday before midnight.

  • The primary goal of these challenges is to have fun!

  • Every Sunday Challenge “Results” will be shared on our social media channels!

Designs do not necessarily need to be replicas of your current equipment.  Visit www.drummajorsofsocal.org to submit a photo or a show-and-tell video of you showcasing your new piece of equipment!
